Staro Volčje - Bloško jezero

Access to the starting point:
a) From Ljubljana, drive towards Kočevje or vice versa, but only as far as Velike Lašče, where you turn right (left from Kočevje) in the direction of Nová vas na Blokah. Continue along the road, which is occasionally a bit more winding and also climbing, passing by a few small settlements. After Kramplje, a few 10 metres to be precise, and after crossing the Bloščica brook, we arrive at a small crossroads where a narrow asphalt road branches off to the left towards Bloško jezero and the village of Volčje. Park in a suitable place at the crossroads. A suitable place is some 10 m away from the junction along the main road.
b) From the motorway Ljubljana - Koper take the exit Unec, then follow the road in the direction of Cerknica and further in the direction of Bloška Polica and Nova vas. From Nova vas, turn left in the direction of Velike Lašče, and then pass Nemška vas na Blokah and the first turnoff towards Bloško jezero and Volčje. From the first turnoff, drive for about 1. 5 km and then reach the second turnoff to Lake Bloškoe. Park in a suitable place at the crossroads. A suitable place is some 10 m away from the crossroads along the main road.

Path description:
At the crossroads, you will see a wooden signpost with the inscription Volčje, which directs you to a narrower asphalt road to start your journey. The road leads us through the forest, just 10 m away from the interesting little stream Bloščica, which makes interesting bends on its way across the flat world (similar to the stream in the Little Field below Triglav). After a good 10 minutes of easy climbing on the asphalt road, we arrive at Bloško jezero, where we can enjoy the view of the lake.
