Access to the starting point:
a) Leave the Primorska motorway at the Brezovica exit, then follow the signs for Dobrova, from where you continue towards Horjul from the roundabout. When you reach Zaklanec, the route described above starts at the bus stop. There are no suitable parking places at the beginning of the route.
b) Take the road to Vrhnika, then follow the signs for Horjul. At Horjul turn right in the direction of Dobrova, and we drive to Zaklanec, where we pass the inn at Škof, and after the inn we soon arrive at the bus stop, where the described route begins. There are no suitable parking spaces at the start of the route.
Path description:
From the bus stop continue a few 10 steps, or a few 10 metres from the bus stop at description b towards Dobrova, and then the signs for St Urha's Church direct us left onto a side road that quickly leads us to a nearby house where the road turns right and starts to climb steeply. At first, we get a nice view of the surroundings, but then the road turns into the forest and slowly turns more to the left. Higher up, the road from Podolnica joins us from the right, and we continue to the left, passing the parking lot, and climb up to the Church of St Urho, which offers a fine view.
