Amariana

Description of peak:
Amariana is a beautiful pyramidal mountain rising above the Tolmezzo, its exposed position affording spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the unusually wide Tagliamento River below. It is accessed by steep slopes, but the path is steep and, in difficult places, secured by cables. It is suitable for anyone with even a little experience of walking in the high mountains.
