Bukov Vrh (Trnovski gozd)

Description of peak:
Bukovo vrh is a 1314 m high peak located on the northern edge of the Trnovo Forest. The mostly forested peak, covered with beech trees, descends steeply towards the Trebuščice valley to the north and continues southwards into the plateau of the Trnovski Forest. Through the treetops, we can see some views towards Golaki and Škofjeloško and the Cerkljansko hills, but otherwise the peak, which is a nice hiking and skiing destination in good snow conditions, is also a primeval forest reserve.
