Gerlitzen

Description of mountain:
Osojščica / Gerlitzen is a 1,909-meter-high mountain located north of Ossiacher See lake. At the summit, accessible by cable car, stands the Gipfelhaus hotel, with the Alpin hotel a few meters lower. South of the peak is a viewpoint and paragliding launch site. In winter, it is a popular ski area; in summer, it attracts tourists, downhill cyclists, paragliders, and some hikers.
The view from the summit extends from the nearby Kriške Alps to the High and Low Tauern, Karawanks, Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Julian Alps, Carnic Alps, Gailtal Alps...
