Kurešček

Description of peak:
Kurešček is an 826 m high peak located south of Ig and south-west of Želimlje. The view from the top, on which the church stands, is not possible due to the nearby forest. In recent years, Kurešček has become an increasingly popular pilgrimage destination for the faithful, as the church, which is dedicated to St. Mary (Queen of Peace), is visited by believers from all over Slovenia and abroad.
