Pelawangan I is the spot at the crater rim of the Gunung Rinjani volcano, 3726m, 7 hours of walk from the village of Sembalun Lawang(savannah approach). Nearby is the place, where the tents are usually set to spend the night. Beware of the monkeys during the day (don't leave your equipment unattended)!
