Peter Wiechenthaler Hütte

Description of peak:
Hut Peter Wiechenthaler Hütte is located on the summit of Kienalkopf in the Berchtesgaden Alps at an altitude of 1,752 metres. From the hut, which is also reached by a freight cable car, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the nearby peaks, with the Persailhorn standing out in particular. There is also a beautiful view towards Saalfelden. The hut was built in 1926 and is open from the end of May to the end of September. When it is closed, there is a winter rom with 6 beds.
