Strug

Description of peak:
Strug is certainly the most isolated mountain in the Slovenian-Italian border ridge, which runs from Ponce to Vevnica. Its summit is only reached by those who cross the entire ridge. The view from the top is unique. You are in the heart of the mountains and, in fine weather, you will hardly be able to recognise all the peaks that can be seen far and wide.
If you feel fit enough for the long, difficult and exposed route, with climbing up to level 2, just take the above-mentioned traverse and give Strug a few moments. It will reward you with the genuine mountaineering satisfaction of standing on its summit.
