Wild Strawberry (Fragaria vesca)
Description:
The leaves of the woodland strawberry are three-toothed and grow on a plant that reaches up to 15 cm in height. The flowers are white with usually five petals from which develops the well-known red woodland strawberry. It occurs on forest edges and among shrubs from lowlands up to the forest line (up to 1700 m). It flowers from April to June, depending on altitude.
