I have to admit, I was quite disappointed when I noticed an election ad on this website, which I otherwise highly value and visit regularly. At least in the mountains and on hribi.net, please don't bombard us with politics!  I understand that the site needs to be maintained somehow, but ...

Hello, the advertising space in the bottom right of the website is marketed by Iprom d.o.o. and Hribi.net editors have no influence on the ad content.

I don't know why you're so upset. I think at least those who regularly follow this forum are aware of conditions on many hiking paths. And there are many other websites from mountaineering perspective. I won't list them because you probably know them. So I just advise you to ignore this website for at least a month. I will too. And I think I won't miss much. Probably no big damage either.NICE MOUNTAINEERING GREETINGS

Why ignore the website? We'd surely miss a lot. We can ignore the ads. I prefer they pay this website rather than some other media.

I never look at ads - they don't bother me either!
Ignoring this website because of ads is unnecessary!
The worst would be - IF WE STARTED USING THIS WEBSITE FOR DISCUSSIONS ABOUT POLITICS!!

I must apologize right away! My intention was not to call for any boycott, but just to point out that politics and mountains don't go together. Rok's explanation is completely acceptable to me at least. I agree with Nevi and Geppo, I wouldn't even think of ignoring the site that offers us so much useful stuff!
