The solution to this problem is very simple: take four sharpened approx 1m long stakes (or electric shepherd pegs) and enough wire to go around the car. Cows certainly won't lick a fenced car like that. Tested many times. Before, they licked mine several times too (no one salted it), saliva was dripping from it. They even left some signatures on it.

Sometimes I was convinced that only positive people go to the mountains. Lately I've noticed, also from forum posts, that there's a bunch of frustrated folks here who want to be the boss wherever they show up.

You have no idea. 
From my experience, as much as mountaineers are nice folks, most of them (well, us :P) are such egos, God help us. Convinced they're right about everything, stubborn as the devil and forum debate doesn't budge anyone even a millimeter. I bet one can talk much nicer in person with all of them.

@Žiga22: Yes, I'm an egoist because I don't want my car damaged due to one farmer (I respect farmer as a profession, problem are those who are farmers in the head) or even an accident happens and, since by acting in such cases (which should be the duty of every person with a feeling for fellow man and common good) I maybe prevent it from happening to someone else.
@75'er: go in main season July or August to Triglav and you'll see who all goes there. If someone judged by them, 80% of all mountaineers are total cattle (may cattle not resent that I compare them to them) or fools.

And don't judge all hikers by Triglav. It's kinda like judging all Slovenes by this forum.
