Ideas for a two-day trip in the hills, less strenuous

I remember that in high school they took us on a two-day trip that stuck in my memory and I might repeat it a bit with my 75-year-old father. We'd walk more slowly, nowhere to rush for us, him because he's older, me because it's more time together and I'm not really a recreational hiker. As I remember it was like this, we started the trip at Savica Waterfall, climbed up and went towards the hut on Komna where we slept-because we only started hiking in the afternoon. The next day we quite soon after the start walked past some lake-the path led along the water, then we walked the whole day more or less on plains (a bit down, a bit up) and at the end descended to the valley somewhere off from Lake Bohinj - anyway the bus came to pick us up somewhere else, I think it's the road that leads to Bohinj. In between I know we walked past at least two lakes. Does anyone have an idea where we might have been hiking? Can someone suggest a trail of that difficulty, similar, two-day with sleeping in a hut, the tour doesn't need to be circular, because we'll have a driver who will drop us off and come pick us up at the agreed point. Thanks for the help.

I suggest two not strenuous trails with nice views: 1st day: Ski hotel Vogel - Komna, overnight. 2nd day: Komna via Bogatinsko sedlo to Krn Lake and to hut in Lepena.
