Early morning despite the heat I set off from Lj. to Konec under KSA. They say it's even hotter if you don't move.
Rather than through Trzin I rode through Tacen and Skaručna to Vodiče. There I turned right to Kamnik and after 12km of the cool Kamniška Bistrica valley to Konec, since there is also the end of all paths, those for traffic. From the hut in Kamniška Bistrica towards Žagana peč and to the parking lot of the freight cable car everything was parked to the last corner. Probably the decree banning driving hasn't really taken effect yet. The Municipality of Kamnik will have to first build a new parking lot by the hut, put up warning signs and a ramp. Also at the lower hut and by the gondola to Velika planina there was huge attendance, among ours also many foreigners. Hikers who had already finished their tour in Konec couldn't boast about the swelter either, they would have started even earlier if possible. On the contrary Kamniška Bistrica with the river cools us the whole way with a breeze, so I recommend the cycling path more in the early morning hours.
Some statistics: Total 86km ridden, riding time 4h 11min, avg speed 17.6 km/h. I was in Konec after two and a half hours. Nice tour and fun when you just ride from Ljubljana to the path leading over Gamsov skret or over Žmavčarje to the bivouac under Skuta.nasmeh

I see we weren't the only ones who "suffered" in that heat yesterday..nasmeh

we had a similar tour: start was in Kranj, through Trboje - Zapoge - Vodice - Moste - Podgorje - Kamnik and Kam. Bistrica.
Total ridden: 82km.

Try: Bohinj lake-Planina Blato - tough, and allowed

pikec1 I drove that the year before last and agree it's super. And further to Kosijev dom on Vogar. Really recommend. Just not on weekends! Around Bohinj all nice trips anyway.
