In the foggy and cold morning I tackled this nice high-altitude tour towards Logar Valley.
I started at Planšarsko Lake in Jezersko and rode the first climbs to Jezersko Saddle for warm-up. Followed a fairly long descent to the junction for Pavličevo Sedlo. From there a 1h ascent to Pavličevo Sedlo awaited me. The highest point on the way to Pavličevo Sedlo appears quite a bit before the pass at 1400m. Stubborn fog cleared only at the descent into Logar Valley so I finally warmed my frozen bones. Cyclists and hikers don't pay at the checkpoint so I nicely rode further into the valley all the way to the turning point before Rinka Waterfall. People and hustle to the last corner, who came from almost all European countries, even from UK and Netherlands. They had something to see and taste here. After 1h rest on the bench at the hut below Rinka Waterfall and first meal I quickly descended to the Logar Sisters. From there another climb - repeat the exercise uphill. After an hour of constant riding back at Pavličevo Sedlo with 606 m climbed. For every hardship there's always some kind of reward, this time wonderful descent. Followed another ascent to Jezersko Saddle and another cold breeze downhill for reward. For thirst at the end of the tour Radler at Planšarsko Lake took care. The tour is very nice with riding mostly in shade even during the day and beautiful mountain nature. During the tour accumulated 2052 m of ascent. Due to four ascents + one to the Hut at Rinka Waterfall and as many descents the tour requires some endurance and fitness.
Statistics: Dist. 70km, total riding time 5h56min, avg. speed 11.30km/h.
