19.01. I hiked/plowed through the route described above. Well, somewhere I took my own shortcut, which turned out to be a longer path. Anyway, the walking conditions were great, temperature around zero, only the wind was slightly annoying, especially on Bevkov vrh. From Sovodenj to the hut on Ermanovec I took the scenic path and after good 1h30min I stood in front of the hut, which was open. I continued the path towards the "pass" Kladje, along the plowed road. It took me good 40 min to Kladje. Then I "plowed" half the path, namely to one of the local roads. I spent a whole hour wading through half-meter snow. Then again along the road to the Slabe farm, from there again wading to the chapel on/under Bevkov vrh. The wind was grinding and covered my predecessor's track. It took me about 2 hours from Kladje to the chapel, then the path took me over Bevkov vrh down to Sovodenj, for which I needed another hour and a half. In short, in winter conditions the path is beautiful, but we can imagine how nice it is in spring. I recommend it to everyone who is able and willing to walk 5 to 6 hours.

26.05.2014, when Romana and I were walking on the Loška mountain path, for the section Sivka and Bevkov vrh, I wouldn't praise the markers, neither for path marking nor for cleared path. Near the abandoned farm at the intersection, there's a missing direction sign or some other mark, so we went right on the new logging trail, which is probably used for building a new power line. At the top there was quite a mess, then find the path to the chapel if you're there for the first time from that direction. Lower down it's well provided (marked) for cheese and such, nowhere are marks for continuing the path towards Kladje.

Yesterday I ascended from Sovodenj to Ermanovec, continued to the pass Kladje and further to Bevkov vrh. From Bevkov vrh I descended via SPP to the road Sovodenj - Otalež, from there along the road by the Javorščica stream back to Sovodenj.
On Ermanovec up to about 5 cm snow, on Bevkov vrh a few centimeters more.

Approximately 6.5 hours with stops and detour to Jeram. Considering it was quite cold, there weren't many stops, but I had a moderate pace.

Just to mention, from the Hut on Ermanovec to Bevkov vrh it's about 2.5 hours of walking. Already soon after the Hut on Ermanovec there's a sign saying only 1 hour 15 min to Bevkov vrh. The sign with the same time appears again twice at about one hour intervals.

since we're talking about tour lengths in these areas, I'm very interested, as I have it planned this year and I'm not exactly close to these places, how long would it take for an average hiker, the following tour: Žiri-Sivka-Bevkov vrh-Sovodenj-Ermanovec. Thanks

Shorter afternoon loop (start Sovodenj) on scenic paths up and steep down - Bevkov vrh, Ermanovec. Nice views and quiet places.

Today from Sovodenj on steep path to Bevkov vrh. Good it was slightly frozen and not muddy. No snow. Descended to Nova Oselica (horse blessing) and Sovodenj. Magnificent views

Sunday hike of six girls from Sovodenj to Bevkov vrh. Beautiful views, conditions very variable. Windy, somewhere completely dry, elsewhere drifted snow. The Cerkljansko hribovje is nice. Descent past cheese dairy, to Kladje, where we detoured to Ermanovec. Short stop in hut. Some visitors, more apparently in Cerkno with carnival and skiers. On Bevkov vrh not named after France Bevka, exactly two hours fifteen to Sivka, as to Ermanovec. Walked Slovenian mountain path, partly Rapallo border. Loop closed, 900 elevation, 17 km.
