Since I haven't visited Kamniški kot for some time, I decided for a two-day tour on 12th or 13th September. I rode the cable car to Velika Planina, where I hadn't been, so I nicely checked out the typical huts (noticed they already have electricity too, and dogs that make a bit too much noise). From there I had to hurry, as it was already past 9 o'clock, and headed towards planina Korosica and Dol. That one is, in my opinion, really nicely arranged. From there I went to Konj, on the way I found a nice hut, former planina I guess, which is obviously nicely arranged and people stay in it, as I noticed. From Konj nice descent along the ridge, still too secured, I descended to pass Presedljaj, then across to Korosica. Ate something there, then headed on via Mala Ojstrica to Ojstrica (I adore ridge paths because of the views opening around me). Unfortunately I was in fog on Ojstrica. Continued on to Skarje, then via Baba to Planava. Descent to Kamniško sedlo I used to relax muscles. In the evening I slept there. Next day headed via Turska gora to Skuta, fog followed me and shortened views a bit. From Skuta descended down, then via Dolgi hrbet, where it was real pleasure among those rocks and spires. Soon at Mlinarsko sedlo, from there to foggy Grintavec. Descended quickly, but still got rain before Cojzova koča. Just right, rested and ate something, then down to Kamniška Bistrica and, after viewing Predaselje's “Canyon”, back to the car resting at the cable car.
