Nice circular path over the hills near Velenje, called * On the Paths of Vinska Gora *. It's varied all the way, full of interesting spots and not boring at all. Well marked, except on the descent from Ramšakov vrh. There due to forestry works the marks are poorly visible or removed. You can't really get particularly lost, just need a bit more intuition nasmeh

Another issue is crossing the collapsing bridge by the main road towards Lipnik. Officially the path over it is closed, but you find out only on the spot. PD put up closure signs here and only here on both sides of the bridge. In plain speak ... we're covered, you figure it out yourself. Swimming luckily not forbidden yet velik nasmeh

. In any case better to go on here than exposed to vehicles by returning along the main road.

Our goal was to hike the entire loop * On the paths of Vinska gora *

We parked at the former Obirc inn. The parking spaces in front of it are private property

Soon we crossed the main, quite busy road, then the nicer parts of the path began

In the villages there are still quite a few active farms, some abandoned ones too

Our first goal was Gonžarca, this time in the easiest possible way

One of the cottages along the path. A little further, it is necessary to search for the hunting lodge to continue the path.

All control points on this path have the same stamping style.

At the borders of the Dobrna municipality, signs of the thematic path from Miklavž to Miklavž also appear.

Vovk farmstead, known for the mill valley.

Vovk's mill is the most beautiful and best preserved. They ground grain for the needs of Kačnik Castle.

Is there a sturdy bridge? Like stone, cliff, bone.

Mostly forest paths, some asphalt as well.

Here we were thinking wrongly. We expected a descent into some valley.

It turned out that *Dolina* is not a valley, but a summit.

Not for the faint of heart. Officially these few meters of path are closed. Notices are only on the left and right bank of the stream :)

The last summit on this circular path is Lipnik.

Most of the return from Lipnik to the starting point is along an asphalt road

Huge apple orchard, all protected against hail. Nice to see :)

We repeated the path from two years ago, first making peace with the heavenly jailers. It was threateningly cloudy most of the day, but this year's tireless rain took a day off.

The path is still nice, varied and surprisingly not too muddy. Plenty of signs, many renewed. Only the descent from Razgore is quite overgrown, appropriately adopted by ticks. After descent we reach the main road to Velenje, on the other side need to cross Pirešnica. That can be a problem after heavy rain. The worn bridge was finally removed, no new one built.

Only refreshment stop was at the pleasant Lamperček homestead, about halfway. They bring Turkish coffee in a džezva, plus brew excellent home brew. Prices solid even for me, a Gorenjec velik nasmeh

There are really a lot of them, almost impossible to get lost

But not into this Valley. This is a marker for a peak with an unusual name :)

50 trunks??? No, no... 50 years of Štefka from the nearby house :)

New type of markings … if you crash into the trunk, you see stars :)

The descent from Razgorce to the main road is still overgrown

This is how you cross the Pirešnica stream in 2021

It leads back towards Obircu, another one or two kilometers to the starting point

Along the path are exceptionally large orchards, all with hail protection nets

P.s. how's the descent to the regional road (collapsed bridge)? Was it slippery velik nasmeh

Hi Nino. The mentioned descent, that's from Razgore to the main road is quite overgrown, path in places poorly visible. Actually the worst part of the whole path, but luckily very short. No slipping on descent, but across Pirešnica velik nasmeh

On 12.5.2022 walked part of the nice path on Vinska gora to Temenjak starting from Prelska village.

On the Paths of Vinska Gora we went on Saturday, 30.3.2024. Still no bridge over Pirešnica, we took off shoes and crossed without issues. The worst part is really a short section from Razgore towards Lipnik before descending to main road. Path well marked, just on the part when descending from Ramšakov vrh down and out of forest past farm and further houses, follow the asphalt road not the mark on tree with arrow right into forest and letter Š (Šaleška planinska pot) - because from there it's only 100 m along road to Lovska koča at Lopatnik.
