Magdalenska gora is a popular excursion point for Grosuplje residents and inhabitants of the surrounding villages. Recently, Magdalenska gora, which is known for its archaeological site, has also been visited by more and more hikers from slightly further afield. From the top of the hill where the Church of St. Magdalene is located, there is a beautiful view, especially to the north-west, where, with good visibility, you can see part of Julian Alps, Karawanks and the Kamink Savinja Alps.
