Description of mountain hut:
Koča pri Jelenovem studencu is located south-west of Kočevje on the slopes of the forested Stojna. The cottage takes its name from the nearby Jelen's Spring, which does not dry up even on hot summer days.
Koča pri Jelenovem studencu is a popular excursion point, but it can be just a starting point for nearby hikes to Mestni vrh (1034m), Fridrihštejn Castle, Livoldski vrh or just a walk to the nearby Ice Cave on Stojna.
