Vršič above Bogojina

Description of peak:
Vršič is a 246 m high hill that rises gently north of Bogojina, the village in the middle of which is the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, designed by architect Jože Plečnik. At the top of Vršič, which is surrounded by numerous vineyards, stands a wooden lookout tower. If you climb to the top of the tower, you will have a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
