Dom na Matajure

Description of mountain hut:
Dom na Matajure is a Slovenian mountain hut located on the Italian side of Monte Mataiur, less than 100 metres west or south-west of the summit. From the hut, which is run by the Venetian Alpine Family, we have a beautiful view of Venetian Slovenia and the south-western part of Julian Alps, where we can see most of the longest ridge in Julian Alps (the ridge from Kobariškje or Breginjski Stol, which continues westwards via Muzce and Breški Jalovec).
