Weißenstein (Packalpe)

Description of peak:
Weissenstein is a grassy mountain interspersed with wire fences. From its inconspicuous summit there is a fine view of the neighbouring Ameringkogel and most of the Stubalp mountain range. Loking to the west, the Seetaler Alps can be seen, where all the highest peaks of the Alps are clearly visible. From the summit you can also see towards Slovenia. With good visibility, you can see all the mountains bordering Austria. The view extends from Pohorje, Carinthia, Kamnik and Savinja Alps via Karawanks to the Julian Alps.
