Snježnik

Description of peak:
Snježnik is a scenic mountain in the western part of Gorski Kotar. The summit offers a beautiful view of the Kvarner islands, the Gulf of Reška, Istria and its highest peak Učka, the Slovenian Snežnik, behind which, with good visibility, the Kamink Savinja Alps are most visible. To the east and south we can see Veliki Risnjak, Velika Kapela and behind Velebit. Just a few metres below the summit is the Snježnik mountain lodge.
