Farm Rovtar - Tošč (Via Dida)

Access to the starting point:
To reach the Rovtar farm, drive along the Ločnice valley (sign for Topole, Katarina in the village of Sora at Medvode) and turn right about 1 km after the Legastja inn, following the signs for Gonte. Coming from the Katarina side, the turnoff is on the left after about 1. 5 km downhill.
Rovtar is the first farm on the left after about a kilometre (the road has lost its asphalt coating in the meantime). You can park at the marked crossroads (Sora - Gonte) below the farm or 200 m higher up at the 180 degree bend.

Path description:
The trail starts on the roadside below Rovtar Farm, 30 m before a small wooden well on the side of the road, which curves sharply to the left. In the forest, you need to find a narrow path along the stream, which is clearly visible. There are no further traceability problems.
The path climbs steeply through the forest, initially along the cliffs of the waterfall and the always beautiful views. The steepness of the path makes it necessary to take care in certain sections, but otherwise the wooden fences are helpful. Higher up, go right at a fork and you will come to a ravine bed with a stream and a local water supply. Keep following this forest ravine (straight ahead at the next crossroads). Finally, you reach the Govejek - Gonte ridge, where you get onto a dirt road.
Continue in the direction of Tošča (Grmada and Gonte on the left, Govejek and Osolnik on the right) and continue the ascent along the path that returns to the dense forest. The path climbs steeply for a short distance, then flattens out and joins the path from the Gonte tourist farm. Here, continue to the right and follow the sometimes quite steep path, which runs along and along the forested ridge, all the way to the top of the 1021 m high Tošč.
