Kuna Konavoska - Ilijin vrh

Access to the starting point:
On the Adriatic Highway from Dubrovnik to Cavtat, turn left 50 m before the turn-off for Cavtat in the direction of Pridvorje (11 km). Follow the road to the point of Pridvorje. At the end of the road turn left towards Kuna (5 km). Follow the steep serpentine road to Kuna Konavoska. Park at the signpost marking the beginning of the town or at a suitable place along the road.

Path description:
Follow the road from the signpost to the houses in the village of Kuna. Go past the signpost for the mountain trail. After the house number 18, turn right down the stairs and follow the signs. The trail is well marked, easy and climbs slowly in serpentines. At a marked point it splits in two directions. I recommend the shorter, steeper path (the faded "top" marking) for the way up, and the flatter path for the return. The two paths merge higher up. On the way, you pass seven crosses and two signs of local fauna. The closer we get to the summit, the better the view on all sides.
