Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice take the exit Lesce and follow the road in the direction of Bled, where you will be directed to the right at the semaphorised crossroads marked for Pokljuka. Follow this road, which in the lower part takes us through a few villages and later starts to climb steeply, to Mrzle Studenec (a mountain located just 50m after the junction where the road to Bohinj branches off to the left). In the middle of the mountain pasture, a road branches off the main road to the right, leading to Medvedova konte, the Pri Rupah monument and mountain pasture Zajavornik. Turn right here and follow the road towards mountain pasture Zajavornik at the following crossroads. The road then leads to a parking area near mountain pasture Zajavornik.
Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the footpath towards Blejska hut. The path, which at first climbs gently through the spruce forest, crosses a forest road a little higher up, after which we are soon joined on the left by the path from the NOB monument (Pri Rupah). The fairly wide path, which is always surrounded by spruce forests, leads us higher up to the next crossroads, where we continue to the left in the direction of Lipance (to the right Medvedova konta). The ascent continues along the very wide cart track, which leads us in a slight climb to the mountain pasture grazing area of Lipanca in a few minutes. Here the path turns right and leads us in a moderate ascent along the right-hand lower edge of the above-mentioned mountain pasture. This is followed by crossing a grassy slope and the path which leads us back into the forest makes a sharp right turn at the NOB memorial plaque, after which we come to the shepherd's and mountain huts at mountain pasture Lipanca.
From the hut, continue left in the direction of Viševnik and Mrežce along the path, from which the path to Rudné Polje soon branches off to the left. Continue straight ahead and after a short climb a moderately steep path leads to the next crossroads, where you continue right in the direction of Mrežce (straight ahead Viševnik and Mrežce a longer path). The way ahead begins to climb steeply through increasingly sparse forest. Higher up the steepness eases and the path opens up to beautiful views of the highest peaks of the Julian Mountains. Just a little further on we join the already mentioned longer path from the left, we continue to the right and within a few minutes of further walking we reach the scenic peak of Mrežce.

Včeraj sem opravil omenjeno pot. Odlična zadeva za turne smučarje, saj je celo peš sprehod v tako lepem vremenu kot je bilo včeraj parvi užitek. Od Blejske koče do vrha se sicer malo udira (če nisi ravno lahak),a se glede na razgled -v belo odetih Alp, kakršnega si deležen na Mrežcah, krepko izplača.
Priporočam ta lep zimski izlet!

Ta teden smo preživeli teden počitnic na Pokljuki. V sredo sva se s Petrom odpravila od Šport hotela proti planini Javornik, vendar sva kljub vztrajanju najin pohod na smučeh po dobrih 100 metrih opustila zaradi prevelike količine novozapadlega snega. Razmere so se seveda v tem času spremenile, saj je včeraj padal močan dež in je novozapadli sneg stopil. V visokogorju je v tem času zapadlo mnogo novega snega, zato naj ne bo odveč še eno opozorilo, da počakajmo na ugodnejšo vremensko napoved, predvsem pa na ugodnejše razmere okrog nevarnosti sprožitve snežnih plazov. Do Lipance je pot že odlično zgažena, od tam naprej proti Mrežcam pa je snega občutno več in tudi bolj se udira. Sam sem obrnil kakšne pol ure pred vrhom, ker se mi ni dalo bit samo s polovico telesa na soncu

V soboto sem mal "švicala" na Mrežce. Kot pravi grega p, do Lipance zgaženo, mal se je udiralo, vendar točno ob poldne sem bila gor. Razgledi prekrasni in tudi sonce. Kako bo ta teden, glede na otoplitev je vprašanje.

V nedeljo obiskala Mrežce, saj je lepo vreme kar vabilo v naravo. Sicer sva se šele na poti proti Gorenjski odločila, ali jo mahneva na Slemenovo Špico ali na Mrežce in vrhove tam okoli. Predvidevala sva, da bo proti Vršiču verjetno gužva, zato sva se odpravila proti Pokljuki. In ni nama bilo žal. Preživela prekrasen dan.

Včeraj, 5.2.2018, opravil ta vzpon. Štartal sem iz Šport hotela (križišča, kjer iz glavne ceste zaviješ proti Šport hotelu), ker je cesta iz Mrzlega studenca splužena le do Kranjske doline. Pot je dobro uhojena, v glavnem od turnih smučarjev in krplarjev. Snega je kot v pravi zimski pravljici. Pot je shojena in "zvožena" do vrha. Spodaj megla, zgoraj pa božanski razgledi, zaradi malo močnejšega vetra.
