Description of peak:
Babni vrh (also Babji vrh in literature) is a vegetated peak located south of Celje and Štore in the Posavje hills. It is situated at the beginning of a common ridge of a group of hills in the third row on the southern side of the Celje basin, which starts on the eastern side with Babni vrh, continues with Ravnine and Ramanka (the mountain lodge on Svetina), and ends on the western side with Tovsto peak, where the ridge gradually sinks into the Savinja. On the north-west side of Babni vrh, it is preceded by the guardian brothers of another series of smaller hills, the Veliki and Mali Bojanski vrh. Babni vrh itself is not overloked, it is overgrown with evergreen conifers, there is no registration book or stamp on the summit, but a summit mark (2021) is placed on a nearby tree. The view is a little below the summit to the east towards Resevna, Rifnik, Boč, Donački Gora, etc. The name of the summit is interesting, some people believe that it was given to it because of its almost level accessibility from the south side.
