Dom Petra Skalarja na Kaninu

Description of mountain hut:
The house is located on a small hill in the Kaninskih Podi Mountains. From the house, the view covers the entire chain of peaks above the Kaninski Podi, from the Babanski barns, Laška Planja, Visoki Kanin and Prestreljenik all the way to Rombon. Further east, Jalovec, Mangrt, Triglav, Krn, Monte Mataiur and the lowlands of Friuli, the Adriatic Sea and part of Istria can be seen in the distance. In the valley you can see the Soca and Bovec.
A few 10 steps higher from the mountain home is the newer bivouac of Slavko Svetičić - Slavec, which is not always unlocked.
