Gradišče (above Spodnja Idrija)

Description of peak:
Gradišče is a 998-metre-high peak that separates the Ledine plateau in the north-western part of the Rovtarski hills from the Idrijca valley. A television transmitter stands on the summit. The castle is believed to be a fortified outpost dating back to the decline of Roman antiquity and the turbulent events of the migrations of peoples.
