Svete gore

Description of peak:
Svete gore is a 527 m high hill in the Orlice mountain range, located in the easternmost part of the Posavje hills. The top of the hill, on which five church buildings stand, is an old cult site and a famous God's path for Slovenians and Croats alike. From the highest point near the chapel of the Mother of God of Lurška, the view north and west over the Obsotelje and Kozjansko regions is unobstructed on the other side by the forest and the higher ridge of the Orlice River.
