Description of peak:
Veliko Cerje or Veliki hrib is a 343 m high peak located at the westernmost part of the ridge of the Black Hills. From the top, where there is a large monument commemorating the annexation of Primorska to the motherland, there is a beautiful view of the Vipava Valley, the Trnovo forest, part of the Adriatic Sea, the southern Dolomites and the highest Julian Alps peaks, where Kanin, Krn and Triglav stand out.
