Škrlatica

Description of peak:
Škrlatica is the second highest mountain in Slovenia. A cross stands at the summit, making the peak easily recognisable from neighbouring mountains. It also has a very distinctive north-northwest face that is clearly visible from the road over Vršič Pass. The summit offers a beautiful view of all the peaks above the Vrata valley, especially Triglav and the adjacent Dolkova špica, while to the east the hard-to-reach Rokavi are clearly visible. The summit also has a summit register box.
