Description of mountain:
Kostelsko Gorje is a mountain range located in the north-western part of the Croatian Zagorje. It is bounded to the north and west by the Sotla River and to the east by the Krapinice River. Kuna gora is the name of the central part of this mountain range and is one of the few areas where the altitude exceeds 500 m above sea level. The highest peak of Kuna gora is Bukovski vrh (521 m), which many people think is also the highest peak of Kostelsko gorje (the highest peak of this mountain range is a little further east above the village of Jezerišče and is found on the maps under the name Ravnica, or Tusto čelo (561 m)). Kuna Mountain rises with a dominating view above the town of Pregrad. There is a mountain hut on Kuna Gora, and the old Kostel Castle on the northern part of the mountain is also interesting.
