Spominsko obeležje Aleš Kunaver

Description of mountain:
Aleš Kunaver, one of our greatest mountaineers (born 23 June 1935, Ljubljana), died on 2 November 1984 in a helicopter crash between Blejska Dobrava and Kočna. The other victims were the well-known German alpinist and mountaineering writer Toni Hiebeler and his wife, and the pilot and mountain rescuer Gorazd Šturm. Toni Hiebeler was on a helicopter flight to take pictures for his book "The Alps from the Air", for which his friend Aleš Kunaver had selflessly helped him to take pictures of our Julian Mountains.
A year later, the locals erected a stone with a bronze plaque on the spot where the accident took place, preserving the memory of that fateful morning - 2 November 1984.
