Uršlja gora (Plešivec)

Description of peak:
Uršlja gora or Plešivec is a lookout mountain between Slovenj Gradec and Črna na Koroškem. On the top or just below it stands the Church of St Ursula, which is the highest church in Slovenia. On the top of the hill there is not only the church, but also a pleasant mountain lodge in front of which there are a large number of benches and tables. From the house you can climb to the Uršlja gora peak, less than five minutes away, where there is a cross and a viewing platform. Transmitters are placed between the lodge and the summit and can be seen from almost all the neighbouring peaks. Uršlja gora is also a popular excursion point for cyclists, as a forest road closed to traffic leads to the summit.
