Komen

Description of peak:
At 1684m, Komen is the highest peak of the Smrekov Mountains, a mountain range bordering Styria and Carinthia. From the top, in good weather, we have a beautiful view of Pec, Uršlja gora, the nearby Krnes, Golte, Menino mountain pasture, the central Kamnik Savinja Alps and Travnik and Raduha. Just 10m below the summit, there is also a small wooden chapel dedicated to St Cyril and Methodius.
