Description of peak:
Žerjavec or Kavče is a forested and partly rocky hill rising to the east above the settlement Kočna (Poljane nad Jesenicei), with an altitude of 805 metres. It is mainly known for the archaeological site Jamnikov spodmol, located on its western slope. On the rocky quay of this interesting peak there is a pleasant bench from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Kočna settlement, Poljanska Baba, Gorje with Pokljuka, Boršt, and part of the Karavanke Mountains. Views towards Slovenski Javornik, Jesenice and the Karavanke Mountains can also be enjoyed from the northern path to its summit.
